Thang Long Industrial Park (“TLIP”) in Hanoi, established in 1997, Thang Long Industrial Park II (“TLIPII”) in Hung Yen, established in 2006, and Thang Long Industrial Park (Vinh Phuc) (“TLIPIII”) in Vinh Phuc, established in 2015, have decided to shift all of its own power consumption to renewable energy from January, 2023. The CO2 emission reduction volume is more than 800,000 ton annually in total.。
Each TLIPs have promoted rooftop solar project on its own asset such as rental factory and tenants’ factory with PPA model. As of December 2022, the total installed capacity is approximately 25MWp. We have a plan to increase the capacity to 50MW by 2024 and 100MWp by 2030.
In addition to rooftop solar project by TLIPs, we will start to purchase renewable certificate (I-REC: International Renewable Energy Certificate) from TEPCO Energy Partner International (Thailand) Co., Ltd., consolidated subsidiary of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings. We will achieve RE100 for our own use of power consumption and we will enhance the shift to renewable energy for our valued tenants, in addition to above-mentioned rooftop solar projects by offering the I-REC scheme.
